I will have to epoxy the cover to the magnet plate since I am not using the enclosed screws. The lip of the rubber pad is not enough to keep it from falling off the magnet plate if it is bumped from any side of the mount.

The magnet works great. Just a couple of production issues.
First, the system itself works well. Holds a Sig P320 C .45 securely by the side of slide without wiggle.The Good: The magnet is more than strong enough to hold a full-frame pistol. The rubber cover prevents scratching. The included 3M adhesive for test placement and the included wood screws are a nice touch.The Bad: The skirting on the rubber cover extends beyond the base of the metal mount. I trimmed this flush with a sanding block. The rubber cover is not attached to the metal base. Even with the screws in place, the cover moves ever so slightly. I remedied this with a little silicone adhesive.The reality of this is … this is a simple magnetic gun mount. To Bear Armz Tactical, well done. This is a great, simple product that I will be buying a few more of because it works well.

This magnet is strong enough to hold my fully loaded AR-15 by a non-flat surface. In the images notice that the magnet slightly catches an edge on my muzzle break, if it did not then the magnet would slide. I love the coating which prevents my guns from being scratched. This can easily hold a loaded pistol (M&P 2.0 Compact 9mm) and a spare magazine. As you can see I have not yet permanently mounted it yet. Note that the instructions say that the 3M is not meant for permanent mounting (which seems to be most of the negative reviews).

Bought this to mount my 9mm inside the center console of my Jeep Wrangler. The adhesive strip it comes with doesn’t have much grip by itself, especially with the wait of a firearm on it. I definitely recommend using the screws to mount it. Doesn’t take up much space, and magnet holster works great when properly mounted with screws.

Excellent quality gun magnet for use on pretty much any surface you’re looking to attach it to. Plenty of strength to hold onto everything from my RMR’d Glock to my metal CZ with a weapon light. I also found it would work great to hold a spare magazine or two next to your pistol. Most Glock mags should work as they are metal lined. Pictured in a closet for picture purposes. It should work great to create more space for pistols under the shelf in my safe.

I mounted these on several things. One in my truck, one by my nightstand and two in my gun cabinet for storage. Works really well with newer pistols with a flat top. Older 1911 style with less surface area not so much unless you attach the pistol sideways. I plan to get more for my gun cabinet.

Holds my heavy .45 ACP
I searched every gun shop in a 50 mile range and not a single place had a mount that could hold over a few pounds. I saw a few that have magnets and a slip that goes in the trigger but that’s not safe when you carry one in the chamber. This one holds up an assault rifle if need be so this is overkill for my pistol. The rubber padding makes it great so it doesnt scratch your weapon. Mounted right under my dash in my truck with no problem. Just use the provided 3M doublesided tape to temporarily stick it to places to check if it will work (meaning stick your weapon to it to make sure the area is big enough), then use the 4 provided screws to set it in place. Too easy 🙂

Great Magnets for your gun
These magnets are rubber coated – so they won’t scratch or mark up your firearm. They include VHB tape which you can use to place the magnet where you want. I would suggest using the tape and the screws to hold in place.I’ve bought two sets and have them in both vehicles.

I really like the product just one issue that I see is the actually rubber cover is not attached to the magnets or mounting bracket! We actually super glued ours down! Other wise it is a great product we use as a mount for beside the bed and in the car!

Wrote this review when I first purchased them, upgraded vehicles and immediately bought a new set of these magnets. They are a must have!Really like this gun magnet, liked it so much I bought 2. I used the supplied double-sided tape, installed the magnets in the lid of my console, sticks great, holds my Ruger lcp II perfectly, and the second one holds extra magazines. These are well made, strong, and there is no doubt they will hold your gun/magazine in place. It’s nice having them in a secure place while also making it easy to access.
