I bought this to test in my work car since I travel for work a lot and needed a easy way to carry my m&p shield. And I’ve gotta say it works great any negative comments didn’t read directions or installed it in a bad spot. Works so great I just ordered one for my corvette and for my father. Only have had mine fall off the mount a few times and it was due to the massive pot holes and terrible roads in Illinois. 10/10 would recommend this especially considering the price and it’s got a rubber protector.

The adhesion strip Isn’t the best but I was screwing it in anyway. The magnet is super strong and can easily handle any pistol. The rubber cover that goes around the magnet is very good quality and protects your gun from getting scratched. Overall, a really good purchase.

I bought the 2 pack so I could put 1 magnet in my truck and 1 in the hard saddlebag of my motorcycle. The 3M double sided tape seems to be strong enough to hold the magnet without having to use the screws, which I really didn’t want to do. The magnets hold my Sig Sauer P230 easily, very happy with these magnets!

I wasn’t sure it would do as advertised but was pleasantly surprised. I mounted it next to my front door and was able to hold a shotgun and a Mini 14. Cool option for comfort and convenience
Great product for the money. I don’t expect to use it very often at all but love the convenience factor. I have a S&W 9 Sheild and I installed the magnet mount into my 1993 Mustang. I used the provided 3M VHB Tape strip. The gun fits like a glove. It even kinda blends into my dash console, mounted gun doesn’t get in the way, and is easily and smoothly mounts and removes from magent. The provided tape holds well. The only thing I modified was super gluing down the rubber/silicone (whatever it is) logo cover. It easily slid off and onto the magnet mount when I got it, not a big deal, easy fix that I personally wanted.

First of all I’d like to say this gun magnet is probably the most economically priced gun magnet I’ve found so far and with that in mind I’d like to give it 5 stars but couldn’t. The product was very nicely packaged and came with 3M VHB (very high bond) tape, mounting screws and installation guildlines. The magnet also shipped and arrived within 3 days of ordering without prime shipping. Don’t get me wrong I think this is a FANTASTIC gun magnet and would purchase this item again and will recommend it to friends. The magnet has enough pull to hold my both small and large framed handguns but it does not have the amount of pull as some of my other gun magnets. I also think the rubber housing around the magnet would be better if it were glued down to the base plate and trimmed flush to the baseplate to prevent issues when mounting to a flat surface. I understand that These are very minor things which is why I’d give it a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Overall I LOVE this product and could easily see myself purchasing more in the future.

i used screws to mount,and holds a loaded weapon just fine…was unimpressed with the rubber cap over magnets(buffer between weapon and magnets)..flimsy and misshaped,and easily removes from mount,until screwed down…
