Velcro wears out
I purchased this for my wife, who uses it periodically. I need to purchase another because the velcro wore out on this belly band holster and will not stay secured. I’m not sure if this is normal wear and tear or an issue with the velcro.

I tried it with my hammer fire, striker fire 5″- 4″ and they all fit fine even with the mag pouch it holds from double stack to single stack. The firearm does not show if tucked properly.

Great fit and deep concealment.Update:I have bought three of these to date. I absolutely love them. I use it as my main EDC holster, due to the deep concealment it provides. The only gripe I have, if it is a gripe, is that they only last me about 6 months of everyday use before the neoprene at the seam where the holster meets the belly band starts to deteriorate. Other than that, I like this holster, and would recommend it to anyone. it fits nice, is comfortable, and keeps sweat off my weapon. I tried a different brand, and though the material was thinner, my weapon started to develop some surface rust due to sweating. That is the main reason I came back to Bear Armz belly bands. Thank you for a great, affordable product!

Comfortable and versatile
The belly band holster is great. It is very comfortable in any position that you prefer to carry. Depending on the type of clothes usually dictates how I will use the band and it is great in the 12 o’clock and the 8 o’clock position (I am a lefty). The holster will hold my Glock 19 and my Sig P365. The extra mag pouch keeps the magazine in place nicely.The overall comfort of the holster is great but it is a little more difficult to access my firearm than a standard kydex holster. I will just need to drill with it more. My only concern is how long the velcro will hold up with repeated use. I have only had it for a short amount of time but it is the most comfortable holster I have. It makes it very easy to wear basketball shorts and a t-shirt while carrying my favorite weapons.Another great thing about a belly band is that when you go to the bathroom you do not have to readjust your holster since it is attached to your body rather than your belt

Doesn’t stretch to fit full figured guys,like me. I bought the largest one. Would be fine for up to a 32” waist. Not so much for a 40” waist.

The backing material at the end of the belt and the 7.5 ” zipper pouch is inadequate. You simply need more Velcro sown on in order to properly secure this belt! Moreover, the “over strap” is too flimsy and will not hold up to repeated use.

Very decent for the price
This is the third one I’ve tried and so far the best. It fits everything from a full frame 1911 to a compact .22 mag. If you’re expecting the zipper pouch to fit your cell phone it won’t but it is only attached by velcro.

Great Belly Band Holster
All in all, I really like this belly holster. It’s of high quality, works well, and very comfortable. I currently use it to carry my Ruger SP101. I would recommend this holster if you plan to carry revolvers or full-size semi-autos.Pros:-works well with compact/full-size revolvers and full-size semi-autos.-easily concealable and hugs nicely to the body.-comes with handy wallet pouch-mag pouch is a nice feature and works great.-great for ambidextrous use.-durable velcro strapCons:-Doesn’t work well with compacts or subcompact semi-autos.-wish it was a bit longer. It fits approx. 36-38″ waist with no excess.-gun snap is annoying and hard to disengage. velcro would be a better choice.

I just received this belly band holster and so far I love it. I have a 38 inch mid section and this band fits perfect with plenty of overlap. My Springfield XD 9mm fits snugly, no slop or play. The band has a bit of a new car smell to it right out of the package, I hung it outside for a few hours and most of the smell is gone. Really happy!

All’s well after a week of intensive wear
Seems to work great after wearing it 8-10 hrs/day for a little over a week. I was a little hesitant to try this particular belly band since it’s listed at 40″ max and my waist is right at 40″ but I really liked the way it was put together. It was a little snug for the first few days, but the neoprene has since accepted the fact that it is going to be stretched out all the time and has adjusted to my body like a glove.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I bought 2, 1 for my husband and 1 for myself. We both love it! After just a few minutes, I forgot I was wearing it because it’s so comfortable. I don’t care much for the strap that goes over the grip simply because if I need quick access, the strap hinders that, but I fold the strap backwards and tuck it behind the band. Problem solved and it’s just a personal preference and not enough of a nuisance to alter my rating. I would absolutely recommend this product. I’m more likely to carry now that I can wear it comfortably and not have to worry about printing or shifting. The fact that it can be used my male or female is a bonus.

UpdateThe owner reached out to me and offered to send another item. I received the new item and it is in great condition. Great customer service from a company that cares about their customers. Would definitely buy from again with confidence.I was worried about it fitting but it fits OK. I’m a bigger guy with a large waist of 40 to 42. It held a large pistol very firmly as well, being a sig p226 double stack. The issues I had with this item, and the reason for the low rating was that the smell of the belt was absolutely nauseating. It stank up my entire room in a matter of minutes. On top of that, some of the threading around the edges of the belt was frayed, and likely won’t last very long, even once the smell disapates. It looks like it got snagged on something prior to being shipped. It’s too bad, I think this might have been a good product otherwise. Luckily it wasn’t very expensive.

This is my third try at a good wrap around holster, and this BY FAR is the best. I have gained some weight, but this thing doesn’t care. It’s very comfortable no matter what it seems. I barely notice that it’s on. Would definitely suggest this one to friends!
