Have tried it with a Glock 43 & J-frame S&W – both fit. It works well, but not sure if it’s ready for every day wear.

I’ve tried it with both a Glock 43 and J-frame S&W and prefer it with the Glock, but it’s just big enough. The quality of it is decent, it holds secure and doesn’t droop or slip.I don’t know if it would be strong enough construction for every day wear, but for occasions when that’s the only place you can carry or want a back-up it’s a decent unit.

    Nailed it!

I carry a S&W Shield 40 and a S&W .38 revolver (442) and have had a hard time finding a holster that is comfortable, good quality, doesn’t cost a small fortune, and actually conceals! Placement/comfort is different for everyone but this holster allows me to put it in place and it stays there. The hook and loop retention strap is just the right amount too. I’m not planning on utilizing the magazine pouch but it’s there if I need it. Bottom line – This is a great value, and there was a lot of thought put into this holster. I don’t think you can be disappointed with it in any way. Well done.

    Absolutely great product.

Man I was always sceptical about the fit n feel of an ankle holster, but after getting this one, absolutely love it. I’m carrying my bodyguard 380 fde in it and it fits perfect. The feel of the material is great. N actually I’ve never seen this type of velcro or what ever it is, but if for some reason its rubbing ur leg, it don’t bother u at all. Unless ur really doing a lot of hard work or spending plenty of time outside ur leg really don’t sweat. I recommend this to all my buddies and to you.

    So Far So Good

This ankle holster is holding up well and I can certainly feel the difference between this and another one I bought a few months ago for about the same price. Quality seem much better and the velcro seems to do better in its ability to grip tightly. My previous holster’s velcro starting losing holding grip after about two months, causing me to search for a new holster. Love the reinforcement of the straps which helps keep the top strap from slipping down my calf. I use mine almost every day so time will tell how well it will hold up but so far so good.

Perfect for long commute (9mm M&P Shield)

This is perfect! I have a long commute and work at a place where I’m not allowed to carry, so I wanted something that was comfortable for the drive easy to take the gun in and out of for storage in the car safe, and that I could easily and discretely leave on (empty) while I worked. This thing fits the bill. It’s well made, comfortable, and holds in place with a 9mm shield. Very impressed with the quality.

Best ankle rig I’ve tried so far

I’ve tried several ankle holsters and usually had significant comfort issues, retention issues or just plain bad quality. There are times when you want to carry, but more inconspicuous than most methods and this works great. Other holsters I had would sag down until I’ve got a barrel banging on my ankle bone or something or flopping around. If I had to nitpick this, it would be the lack of a quick release on the upper strap. Second would be the retention strap for the pistol- a quick thumb break style would be awesome, or at least better adjustability for different frames. If I carry my little .45 or double stack 9mm, the magazine fits great but a single stack mag flops around in the magazine pouch… again, more adjustability in the retention would be cool.I carry on the inside of my weak-side leg and this holster makes concealed carry super easy. Stick with regular fit pants and avoid tapered or ‘skinny’ styles and nobody will be the wiser. So far, I’ve tried a Walther PPK, Taurus PT111, Taurus PT145, Ruger SR22 and a Glock 42 in it and they all fit… as will a Bersa Thunder .380 or any other Walther-styled pistol.I’d happily pay more for this same holster with a quick-snap thumb break style retention like my leather Galco belt rig in which I carry a 1911 at times. Put your hand on the grip and you can go from absolute retention to released with a tiny flip of the thumb.

I need something like this for my 380

I usually don’t give reviews, but this is exactly what I needed. It is comfortable and doesn’t slip down, and it did stay put were I wanted it to go.

    Well made

Good quality construction. Velcro and neoprene assembly appear to be well made. Pretty comfortable once you find your sweet spot. Wore it all day and kinda forgot I had it on more often than not. Of course, if you plan on strapping that 50 Cal Desert Eagle to your ankle, not only is this not the product for you, but you may want to reevaluate your life choices.

    I am becoming a fan…

I’ve never been much interested in ankle holsters, but these days I’ve been reconsidering… and this one is very comfortable. I have been wearing it around the house and even mowing the lawn, just to see if this mode of carry is one I can adapt to, and so far my impression is favorable. Haven’t worn it much. I’ll find a comfortable position I’m sure.

Good velcro. I have 2 or 3 ankle holsters with worn-out velcro. I often wear an ankle gun for backup. Hope this one lasts longer.

Quality build, decently comfortable, good value.

I’m rather impressed with how much you can get for the inexpensive price. It is pretty comfortable to wear and I can see myself “forgetting” it’s there with more wear experience. The tip of the muzzle/barrel does get pushed inward a bit because of the shape of the leg so I have my sock tucked under that pressure point to help a bit. I can see why more expensive versions have the extra padding added under the pistol portion, but this one is do-able as well.I don’t know how people are fitting larger guns in there….but for a pocket pistol it’s perfect. I’m using it with my .380 Bodyguard in the picture.Draw speed….is going to take getting used to, especially reload speed. This is a deep conceal option, not something you’re going to be winning speed draw competitions with. Oh and ignore the picture on the product page as they are wearing it wrong, as funny as that is. It’s supposed to go on the inside of your weak-side leg. So since I draw right handed, it’s on the inside of my left leg.

Looks and feels well made. Tight fit for Beretta Nano due to strap length.

Received this tge other day. Wwore it for several hours around the house with a Beretta Nano and extra magazine. Was comfortable and secure. Doesn’t slide down like single strap ankle holsters. Looks and feels well made.About the Nano, it fits in this holster but just barely. You have to push it in past the trigger guard and up the grip a bit to get an inch of the strap velcro adhering. You might be ok with less than an inch but don’t know how secure the pistol would be. Ruger LCP fits perfectly.Magazine pocket is roomy enough that it might work with double stack mags but haven’t tried.

Used for 6 months so far

This is an absolute gem of a holster. The Velcro shows no signs of losing grip. After a few weeks of breaking in, I can’t even tell that I’m wearing my XDs with it on.If I had to give one gripe, I wish the retention strap was adjustable for placement. It currently can only go over my beavertail safety, which means it is always depressed while I’m carrying. If you have a job where you sit a lot and don’t want a gun cutting into your midsection, this is a perfect option.

    Works Great

I waited several months before writing this review. I am a recent retired State Trooper and insist on carrying while retired wherever I go. The company checked on my experience immediately, but I did not respond. I would say they really care about their product and I get it. I have worn an ankle holster for 2 decades while on duty, in a smaller caliber as a back-up. I now carry a 9mm in their ankle holster as a concealed and the feel is amazing. Yes, I know it is there, but it remains reasonable comfortable for several hours of wear. If you are new to ankle holsters and don’t know what to get, you cant go wrong with this holster. Its as good as it gets!

    Stays in place

I like this holster, very comfortable. I can wear it all day without an issue on my motorcycle. I tried a Glock 27 and a Taurus 740. The 740 felt better to me. This holster stays in place which is very important to me all the other ones I tried, fall down my leg, and I have about a 20-24 inch calf.

    Great Buy!

Perfect for my 380. Wears comfortably but after about 9 hours my leg felt a bit bruised. No visible bruising and the feeling went away quickly. Could maybe use a little more padding behind the firearm pocket. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

    Nice ankle holster

I used this holster for the first time last weekend. I had it on for five hours and did not mind having it on my leg. This is my first experience with an ankle holster and my S&W Shield did push my pant leg out more than I expected. I am very satisfied with this holster.

    My new way to carry

This holster is extremely comfortable.I have worn it with kakis, jeans, dress slacks, everything and my keltec 380 cannot be seen.It is so comfortable!!!!You don’t even know its there.I was a little concerned when I saw the tearing of the Velcro strap. Just don’t crank it down and it will be fine.Don’t waste time, but this. You will not regret it.

Comfortable, once you find the right mounting position

Once you find the right mounting position, and not strap it too tight, it rides with you without bouncing on your leg or slipping down. Set the top strap above the calf and set it firm, but not too tight. Loosely strap the lower so you can fit a finger behind the strap snugly. Too loose and your piece will bounce, too tight and it cuts the circulation. Personally I wish I would have paid for the snap restraints instead of the Velcro…I find it difficult to release my piece from the holster. I set the restraint off on an angle so I can grab the Velcro faster.

    Great for the price

In fairness, I have not yet used this for carrying a handgun in public. I tried it with two different guns at home and they both work well. I personally like to wear tall cowboy and biker boots, and boots that tall interfere with my ability to withdraw the gun from the leg/ankle holster. Other than that, I was surprised about how comfortable and wearable the product was.

Good Platform/ Needs Fine Tuning for Application

PROS: Definitely versatile for multiple firearms. The calf strap is a must to keep everything from sliding down.CONS: The strap that holds the firearm in the holster is too long, especially if you have a slimmer/smaller weapon. It would be great if this strap had adjustment, and I’ll probably sew the strap together to shorten the strap a bit. Second, the tip of the barrel/slide can still rub on the ball of your ankle. Would be great if the backing had more padding or a something that would reduce hot spots. I find myself rotating the barrel aft of the ankle to avoid this.

Well worth the price and multipurpose

Only been wearing it for about a week, but very comfortable. My Taurus G3C fits in it, but with the standard finger extension mags, and slim fit boot cut jeans (not skinny jeans just the middle ground between baggy and skinny in the leg) it prints pretty bad. That isnt the holsters fault at all, just a heads up to anyone considering this holster. Ill try it again once i get a more subcompact/slim 9mm or flush fit mags. For now i am using it to hold a TQ, leatherman or spare mag in the smaller pocket, and Quickclot or a pouch of ETD in the “gun” pocket. Depends on my environment that day.I personally think its a better option than the $50 ankle med kits, because the top strap holds the weight of your kit on your calf, and its more comfortable than the standard ankle med kits. I also wear cowboy boots so the pocket area stays very secure. But i think with two straps it will stay in place even with shoes or regular boots.Highly recommend this product
